The self stabilizing heating cable for high temperatures is used for applications reaching up to maximum 100 °C in switched-on state and up to maximum 120° C in switch-off state.
The heating cable is available in the categories 21W and 28W per meter in the temperature point of 10°C. These heating cables are mostly used for temperature maintenance of the hot water supply. This avoids that stagnant water cools down in pipelines and has to be drained off before new water is again available. Another possible application is the prevention of legionella in potable water pipes caused by temporary warming up of stagnating water.
